I think I can?

Recently, I was invited to come down to KHPE radio station and pray with listeners for a couple of hours.  It sounded like a neat opportunity, so I said, "yes."

I didn't know what I was getting into, but in faith, I stepped out and tried soemthing new to me.  I've got to tell you, as it got closer to D Day, today, I was so nervous.  There was a pit in my stomach, but what happened next was a credit to the goodness of God. 

Brothers and sisters spoke words of strength into me, brothers and sisters prayed for me, I was even blessed to be with a brother at the radio station and grow that friendship.  All this to say, "I couldn't have done it alone."  I needed people calling me, texting me, praying for me, telling me that I could do it, that God was using me, and from those brothers and sisters, God was strengthening me for the HUGE task of talking on the radio. :)

There is great power and strength from close friends, brothers and sisters in Christ who encourage and build us up. 

May you look for ways to spur others on the love and goods deeds, encouraging and building them up to serve our Great King.
