Grassroots

Mossy Roots - Tree By a Stream

Coming together to connect with and care for one another!

Grassroots is a place for women to begin friendships in a small group setting. Discussion centers on common life issues and Biblical truth.

Currently, the ladies are working through a class entitled,
The Beloved Disciple.

We are studying the life of John, The Beloved Disciple (a Beth Moore Bible Study).  Questions for the small group study will NOT require previous study, and Beth’s teaching through the video will be helpful to all. In addition to the Bible study, please come for a time of encouragement and prayer for each other. This is a great time to join in.

Questions to be discussed on June 20, 2010

1. According to I John 1:9, what is the secret to sharing a life of fellowshipping with Christ and walking in the light?

2. How did Paul describe God's love in Ephesians 3:18-19?   Deep in your heart, what are you most afraid of?

3. Why do we love, according to I John 4:19?   Loving people we find difficult is important to God.  Just about the time we get one challenging relationship under the Spirit's control, God supplies another.  Without details or the least hint of dishonoring another person, have you found this principle to be true?  If so, estimate how many persons you've been very challenged to love in the past five years.  If any of those relationships became some of your dearest, please explain.

4. What do John's words "love in truth" in 2 John mean?   On a microscope day, we are determined to slap the most upsetting thing we can think about on a slide and stare at it for hours.  We throw a pity party and resent any loved one who refuses to come.  What do YOU tend to focus on during a microscope day?

5. How did Paul describe the participation of labor between a believer and God in Colossians 1:29?   Write what you think a one-sentence description of your life would say.  Then describe what you would want it to say.
