Compassion Initiatives

We believe we are called to open our hearts with the compassionate care of Jesus to anyone who has need.
Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked. Psalm 82:3-4
Bringing the heart and hands of Christ to our world!
Operation: Christmas Compassion Christmas Compassion touches hundreds of people with the heart of Christmas to give them help, hope and the joy of the Savior... proving that this time of year is much more about GIVING than RECEIVING. Last year we handed out just over one hundred food boxes and blankets. Widows received a special care package and many of our neighbors were blessed with a plate of cookies and a smile. This opportunity to bless our neighbors takes place the first full week of December each year.
Parish Nursing The purpose of this ministry is to utilize faith-based healthcare professionals and volunteers to provide health education, prayer support and to meet the personal healthcare needs of those within our church family and community. Our focus is on prevention, wholeness and wellness, as well as developing meaningful relationships. Activities being explored include blood pressure and diabetic clinics, helping people prepare for surgeries, understand and deal with chronic illnesses, aging issues, end of life and other crises.
