Our Staff
Scott Miller
Senior Pastor
Scott has been our Pastor since July of 2008. Prior to that, he served at WCC as our School’s Principal for seven years. He and his wife Angela have three children, Adam, Madison, and Ashley. They came to Willamette Community Church from Salem, Oregon and love the community of Albany. Scott received his undergraduate degree from Corban College and his Masters degree from the University of Portland. Scott is a big baseball fan and loves to spend time with his family.
Luis F. Acosta
Lead Pastor - Iglesia Hispana
Luis joined the WCC Staff in the spring of 2006. Luis studied at Rio Grande Bible Institute in Edinburg, Texas. Orginally from Ecuador, Luis has served as an Assistant Pastor, a Church Planter, a Director of Evangelism and a Director of Children's Ministry. Luis and his wife, Esperanza, have 3 children, Arely, Luis, and Angelica. When Luis isn't working he enjoys spending time with his family.
Paul Hynes
Worship Leader
Paul joined WCC staff in August, 2009. He and his wife Ashley have been married for "3 wonderful years!" He grew up in Dallas, TX and moved with his family to Oregon in 2000. He attended OSU and graduated in 2007. Paul loves to play music and spends his free time road biking, running, hiking and backpacking, skiing, and boating. He also loves to hang out with Ashley, and play with their dog Duke.
Sean Feltmann
Youth Pastor
Sean grew up in the city of Albany, and attended Albany Christian school from pre school through 8th grade! He is also a West Albany High School Alumni. After graduating from Ecola Bible School, Sean traveled the United States as a touring Christian musician, performing at churches, festivals and even prisons for several years. He has been married to his wife Sara since 2007. In their spare time, Sean and Sara love to make music, and spend time with loved ones.
Charity Norem
Children's Ministry Director
Charity was brought on staff at WCC in September of 2009. She and her husband Josh have 2 boys, Zion (8), and Victor (5). They have attended WCC for 11 years. Their family enjoys hiking, outdoor sports, homeschooling, hanging out with family and their best friends. Charity also loves going to the farmers market and cooking.
Jason Platt
Principal -Albany Christian School
Jason began as Principal of Albany Christian School in 2008. He brings 13 years of experience in education as a teacher, counselor, athletic director, and coach. Before coming to ACS, he was the Athletic Director and a Teacher at South Albany High School. Jason earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees in Education from Western Oregon University and also a Master of Arts in School Counseling from Northwest Christian College. Jason and his wife, Pamela, have been married 15 years and have three children who attend ACS.
Becky Phillips
Office Administration
Becky has been a part of the WCC staff since 2000. Becky has called WCC home for more than 17 years. She and her husband, Rick, have been married since October 1970. Becky is passionate about seeing the difference a relationship with Jesus makes in the lives of people - especially those who are hurting. When Becky is not working she enjoys opening up her home for game nights, dinners, or swimming in their backyard during the summer!
Diana Cruce
Office Administration
Diana joined the WCC Staff in 1997. Diana has been involved in Women's ministries for many years and currently enjoys helping women learn how the Bible relates to their lives. Diana and her husband Jerry have been married since June of 1967. Diana is passionate about helping people grow in their relationship with God and finding their place for ministry in the church. When Diana's not working she likes to read and visit with friends and family.
